When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We know we are still a long ways out, but please RSVP as soon as you feel comfortable making plans. There are a lot of moving parts and we like to plan ahead! The festivities will be held over Memorial Day Weekend 2027. If you are a definite YES or NO, please let us know right away! If you need time to think or plan further, please let us know that as well. We understand!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

As of right now, we are in the process of planning a Welcome Party on Friday 28 May 2027, along with the celebration on Saturday 29 May 2027. Depending on how many people RSVP and when they would like to arrive in Ireland, we may plan a fun dinner for Thursday the 27th as well. We will continue to update you all as we get closer and we solidify guest numbers and travel dates.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We will be staying at The Shelbourne on St. Stephen's Green. We are inquiring about a hotel block and will provide further details ASAP. There are many beautiful hotels, bed & breakfasts, and Airbnbs to choose from in Dublin. Public transportation is well-organized, and Uber/Lyft/taxis are always available. We will add a few recommendations to the "Travel" page soon! We would encourage you to stay in Dublin 2 (near St. Stephen's Green) or Dublin 4 (Ballsbridge, Merrion, near where we lived in 2018!) areas, as these are centralized on the DART train line and the area in which we will be having our festivities! The eastern part of Dublin 8 (near St. Patrick's Cathedral) would also be a great area. When looking at areas to stay in, please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns! We will be happy to help!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a limited amount of guest spots at our venue, so no plus-ones unless otherwise specified on your invite!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No one under 18 will be able to attend the Welcome Party on 28 May or the Celebration on 29 May. However, they are of course welcome to come enjoy Ireland, as long as you can make plans for them during those specific events!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think wildflowers and gardens! Think colorful pastels! Think Ireland in the Spring! But overall be true to you and wear what you feel comfortable in.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

As of right now, we do not have a registry. Your presence at our destination celebration is gift enough!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know if you have any allergies. We will already be sure to have gluten free options, but we will see what we can do with other requests.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are planning to book transportation to bring us to a few different places for our non-traditional celebration. More details to follow.
