Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're going with what's referred to as "dressy casual." A quick Google search will give you some pictures and a description something like "Dressy casual attire (also called smart casual) is a combination of relaxed and refined pieces—think blouses, dress shirts, button-downs, dress pants, dark jeans, and clean shoes." Also, you are also welcome to come dressed in your finest attire. Formal suits and dresses are great too!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Sometimes Maine weather likes to do whatever it wants to do, but Google suggests, "daily high temperatures decrease by 10°F, from 74°F to 64°F, rarely falling below 56°F or exceeding 82°F." That being said, we're expecting to have a beautiful day! We ask that all in attendance bring their most positive vibes. Think sunshine!

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

We have a private venue reserved. The ceremony and reception will be taking place on the same property. So, no travel will be required in between events.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both are being held outdoors, however the reception will be held under a tent. Should the weather cool down we will have outdoor heaters to keep us warm.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bride and groom will be taking pictures nearby. Guests will be invited to the reception tent for light bites and beverages.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The address is 55 Hilltop Dr. Wiscasset, ME 04578 and can easily be found using the GPS on your smartphone. I mean...It's 2021 right?

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive a little bit before the 3:30 P.M. start of the ceremony.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?
