The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail. Think suit or dress shirt with a tie, or a nice midi- or knee-length dress. Most importantly, bring shoes you can dance in!
Daily valet parking is available for $20, or garage self-parking is $4/hour. We recommend using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, or getting a taxi through Union Cab or Madison Taxi.
The ceremony will start promptly at 4 pm central. Please plan to be seated by 3:45 pm.
If you're staying on the Isthmus (downtown), we encourage you to explore by walking, biking, or taking the bus. The downtown is very walkable, and there's lots to explore near the hotels. You'll also see Madison's e-bike share program, BCycle, which can be rented through their app of the same name. The bus system is also easy to use; it's $2/ride, and you can just tap your credit card or Apple Pay when you get on.
Hopefully the ceremony will be! The reception is indoors, and if the weather is bad we can move the ceremony inside as well. We're planning for the ceremony to be on the terrace between the two buildings at the Edgewater. The terrace is paved so heels should be ok.
There are stairs to get from street-level down to where the ceremony and reception are, but inside the hotel there are elevators that can be taken if needed.
Yes!
Jewish weddings are traditionally not held during the Sabbath, which starts at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. We think Sunday is the next best day to celebrate and appreciate everyone who is able to make it work in their schedules.
All guests are listed by name on the invitation. If you have questions, please reach out to Ilana or Patrick.
All guests must RSVP by May 17th using the RSVP section of this website.
