There is a dress code at Coral Beach Club, so please keep this in mind when packing for the weekend! In general, Resort Attire is required - this means that denim (in any form) and cut-offs are not permitted, tennis is all-whites, and men must wear a jacket in the main dining areas after 6pm. We will be hosting a Welcome Beach Bonfire at Coral Beach Club on Friday starting at 8 PM. We encourage everyone to spice up their look with lots of color, linens, and comfortable shoes for the sand (or be prepared to take them off!). Our wedding day is Summer Cocktail attire and will be held on the Wedding Lawn - ladies, please wear appropriate shoes for the grass! The cocktail hour will take place on the Croquet Court followed by dinner & dancing on the Long Tail Terrace. Men must be in jackets, no jeans, no cut-offs, no flip flops, etc.
We suggest making a dinner reservation on Friday evening before the Welcome Beach Bonfire at 8 PM. See below for some dinner recommendations: Coral Beach & Tennis Club Main Restaurant The Pink Beach Club at The Loren Sul Verde at Tucker's Point Golf Course Clubhouse Cafe Lido Rustico Restaurant & Pizzeria Harry's Blu Bar & Grill The Cloud Huckleberry 1609 Gastropub at The Hamilton Princess Crown and Anchor Barracuda Grill
Tourists are not allowed to rent cars in Bermuda, but you can opt to rent a mini electric car, a moped, or use a taxi, which are readily available at hotels and the airport. Taxis only accept cash, so be sure to have some on you! A good rule of thumb is to call 30 minutes before desired pick-up. Download Hitch (Uber, etc): https://www.hitch.bm/ For a taxi, contact Coreen: 441-533-0595 We will have transportation on a loop for our ceremony and reception picking up from The Newstead.
While your children are more than welcome to celebrate the majority of the weekend with us, we kindly request that the ceremony & reception be adults-only. There are babysitting services provided by Coral Beach & Tennis Club, so please feel free to reach out to 441-236-2233 for more information.
For all guests who are staying at locations other than CBC, the club will provide an option to set up a charge card linked to your preferred credit card for any additional purchases you'd like to make outside of the provided meals/events. The club is cashless/cardless, so we suggest setting this up when you first visit the club.
Typically sunny with highs in the high 70s and lows in the high 60s. Great for swimming during the day and comfortable for dinner in the evening.
