We recommend flying into Richmond International Airport. RIC is located just outside downtown Richmond, about 30 minutes from Pocahontas State Park.
Travel Note
State Park Information
Your entrance fee to the park is waived for the day. Inform the front guard you are attending the Wright-Dahl wedding upon entering the park for the day. As this is a State Park, please be respectful of the environment and park policies.
Train
Train Stations
There are two train stations in Richmond - Staples Mill and Main Street station. Staples Mill usually has more train options but Main Street is closer to the park and is downtown if you are staying in a hotel in the city.
