FAQs

Question

What kind of wedding is this?

Answer

This is an outdoor wedding. Please be prepared for all kinds of weather. We will be celebrating outside, and the temperature can drop substantially when the sun goes down. You'll also want to wear shoes that will be comfortable on rocky soil and grass.

Question

Can I stay the night at the 4-H Camp on the night of the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be camping the night of the wedding and would love for you to join us! There are 11 cabins with bunk beds, as well as plenty of space for tents and RV's. The cabins are very rustic/basic! You will need to bring items like sleeping bags, pillows, and other camping supplies for the night, which you can rent at Backwoods Sports in Ketchum if needed. Please let Patrick or Erica know if you are planning on staying the night and we can designate a cabin for you!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is "Mountain Cocktail," meaning we'd ask that you dress for a celebration, but there is no need to wear a full suit or a gown. The most important thing will be your comfort. It will likely start out as a warm, sunny day (fingers crossed!) and transition into a cool, mountain air night. The ground is mostly loose, rocky soil and grass. Please bring jackets and wear comfortable shoes! If you're camping, please make sure to bring a change of clothes so you are ultra-comfortable sitting by the bonfire late into the night with us!

Question

Is there transportation to, and from the 4-H Camp?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle to and from the wedding. If you will not be camping, we ask that you please take the shuttle, since parking at the 4-H camp is limited. There will be two shuttles departing from Ketchum - one from the back of Limelight on Washington Street and one from the Wood River Community YMCA. The shuttles will leave at 4:00 pm sharp, so please arrive early enough to park and find the shuttles. The return shuttles will leave the 4-H camp every hour after dinner, and will stop at both the YMCA and Limelight. The last shuttle will be at 12:30 am.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We love your little ones, but the Ceremony and Reception on June 27 will be adults only. You are welcome to bring them to the Welcome Drinks on June 26. On June 28, we will be having lunch and beers at Wicked Spud in Hailey. If you'd like to stop by, kiddos are also welcome there!

Question

Is there cell service at the 4-H camp?

Answer

There is no cell reception at the 4-H Camp at all. There is a landline, which requires a phone card to call out. We will make sure to have phone cards on hand. The phone number at the 4-H camp if needed (e.g., for babysitters) is 208-726-4519.
