What is the overall itinerary?

Thursday October 10th: 11:00am- Rehearsal for bridal party only 6:00pm- Rehearsal/welcome dinner at Caffe Luna in downtown Raleigh (by invite only due to limited guest count- stay tuned!) Friday October 11th: 4:30pm- Guests Arrive 5:00pm- Ceremony 5:30pm-6:30pm- Cocktail Hour 6:30-10:30-pm- Reception! 10:30pm- head over to My Way Tavern, if you're up for it!

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00! If you are coming from outside of Holly Springs, please allow plenty of travel time. This is rush hour on a Friday afternoon.

What are we eating and drinking?

Answer

Open bar with all the essentials. Cocktail hour will feature a few passed hors d'oeuvres, and we will have a full dinner with cake to follow during the reception.

Is there an after party?

Answer

Unofficially. There is a great little bar right across the street called "My Way Tavern" that would be a great place to gather after it's all over.

What is the transportation and parking situation?

Answer

If you plan to drive your own car, there will be public parking near the venue and parking attendants to direct you. Raleigh and all of its surrounding cities are very Uber/Lyft friendly. Always be safe :)

What is the dress code?

Answer

Whatever makes you feel good! Generally speaking, dressy-casual to semi-formal is the vibe. If all goes according to plan, the ceremony and the reception will be outdoors! NC weather in October could be in the 60s, or could be in the 80s. Layers are always the name of the game.

The easiest way is to click the RSVP tab above and follow the prompts. If you have any trouble, you can just send us a text (631)220-2089. Please do so by August 15th!!

Answer

The most important thing to us is that our loved ones are able to join us and have a great time. We tried to include all children and significant others that we know. If you would like to discuss your specific situation, or anything has changed, just shoot us a text.

Answer

The best gift- your presence at the wedding. We are so appreciative of everyone who needs to travel to celebrate with us. This is priority above all else! The sugar on top- we would really love contributions to our honeymoon fund and help as we plan to grow our family. We have an established home, so we don't have too much of a need for household items! But there are items listed..... Yes. Of course we could always benefit from some household upgrades. If this is your preferred method of gifting, we included some items we would love. You are welcome to bring these items to the wedding or you can send them to 4724 Alenja Lane Raleigh NC, 27616

The ceremony AND reception will be held at Leslie Alford Mims House. The address is 100 Avent Ferry Rd. Holly Springs, NC 27540.
