FAQs

Question

Where can I RSVP?

Answer

Our "RSVP" and "Schedule" sections will be available on this website soon!

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Our registry will be available on this website soon!

Question

Can I bring a date, a plus one, or my kids?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate our big day with our closest family and friends! While we wish we could extend an invitation to everyone’s guest, we’re keeping things intimate. If your invitation includes a guest, it will be indicated when you RSVP.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Yes, all guests that are flying-in should plan on renting a car. There are limited Ubers or Lyfts in Leelanau County. **We recommend carpooling as well**

Question

Who do I contact if I have questions during the wedding weekend?

Answer

Please contact our wedding party or family members if you have questions during the wedding weekend.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the beach at the Sleeping Bear Point Maritime Museum. The reception is just an 8 minute drive away, at River Club Glen Arbor.

Question

What time is the wedding?

Answer

We plan to have a morning ceremony, followed by a lunchtime reception. You will receive details with your formal invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Summer casual wedding attire! Think midi or maxi sundresses, linen materials, sandals, button downs, polos, and fun colors. The ceremony will be on the sand, and the reception space is a mix of gravel and grass. Please refrain from wearing white, cream, ivory, or black.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Photos and videos throughout the day are encouraged. Just make sure to share them with us!

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! Food, putt-putt, and your first 2 drinks are on us!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do not have a formal hotel block. However, you will find many lodging options (boutique hotels, airbnbs, etc) in Glen Arbor, Empire, Leland, and other nearby townships. Traverse City offers more budget-friendly options, but please note it’s a bit of a drive from most of the wedding weekend festivities.

Question

Where should we eat while in town?

Answer

Some of our favorite restaurants in the area include: The Cove, Knot Just a Bar, Capital Dog, Dick's Pour House, Fiddleheads, Boonedocks, V.I. Grill, & Boone's Prime Time Pub.
