Joshua is the longtime best friend of Alec, growing up in Kansas City and staying close through several moves. Joshua is generous, dedicated, and vibrant, serving as Alec's Best Man.

Zoë and Patrick met at Babler Elementary in second grade. They have worked on numerous school projects together throughout the years, shared many inside jokes, and have remained close friends through college and beyond. Zoë will be serving as one of Patrick's Groomswomen.

Alec's sister Ainsley is not only one of his most trusted confidants, but one of his dearest friends. They share deep experiences and interests in music, debate, and health. Ainsley will serve as a Groomswoman for the ceremony.

Kerri and Patrick met in first grade at Babler Elementary, and have shared countless summers at the pool, hours playing video games together, and many more laughs throughout the years. Kerri and Patrick have maintained their close friendship over the last 20+ years. Kerri will serve as a Groomswoman for Patrick.

Emma and Alec met at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, just up Columbia Street from the Gardens, and graduated together with a deep dedication to public service and a love for public health. They remain public health colleagues – and very nerdy friends.

Patrick and Ashley met in middle school at Rockwood Valley. The two shared classes throughout the years in middle and high school, with lots of joking during Flex classes in high school. Ashley will be serving as a Groomswoman for Patrick.
