Some love stories start with grand plans — this one started with karaoke at Litl’ Bits. Abby noticed Patrick first and was ready to make the first move. After breaking the ice, the two spent the night talking and Abby convinced Patrick to stay way too late just to watch her sing karaoke. A week later, Patrick came back to Litl’ Bits and finally got Abby’s Snapchat. The very next day, the two met up at the bar to really talk and get to know each other. Two days later, they went on their first official date, and not long after that, Abby met Patrick’s family as his girlfriend. From the very beginning, everything just felt easy and right. On May 24, 2026, Patrick proposed at Lake of the Woods during a fishing trip with his brother and sister-in-law. Abby knew a ring was coming eventually, but she never expected it to happen that night — especially after being the one to suggest dressing up for dinner and taking sunset pictures. After capturing some beautiful moments together by the water, Patrick got down on one knee and asked Abby to spend forever with him.
