We’re getting married!

The day started off with a lovely breakfast at Mimosa House. Afterwards, Patrick went with Mina on a trip to Safeway! When Mina left her shopping cart in the middle of the parking lot, Patrick grabbed the cart and put it back, but not before he called her "Cancer". It was then, she KNEW he was the ONE. The day was followed up by a trip to Ice House Reservior, where Patrick was inclined to slap Mina's butt. Mina started having second thoughts about Patrick. They visited Sly Park Lake to watch the sunset together afterwards and ended the evening with dinner. At dinner, Mina accidentally spilled her water all over the table, getting it on Patrick too! Mina was so embarrassed, but Patrick was cool as a cucumber about it. After finally arriving back home, Patrick ended with night was a sloppy, wet kiss- of which Mina wasn't exactly prepared for. The two bid adieu, and Mina ultimately decided to go on a second date with Patrick (She felt she owed him a second chance after the water incident!)! The rest is history.

Patrick: When the ring was delayed, I wasnt sure it was going to happen. I had wanted an earlier proposal but Mina's birthday sounded perfect. As hard as I tried, things kept making the day "the worst birthday ever". Little did Mina know it would be the best day ever. I had to hide the ring, and when it finally came time to ask, Mina was pulling away trying to get back in the car and go home. I couldn't have done it without some help. Thanks again Annemarie and Kody. Mina: He proposed on my birthday! I had a feeling he was going to do it because he was acting nervous all night. He kept checking his watch and his leg was so restless. We went out to see Christmas lights with my sister Carrie, best friend AnneMarie and AnneMarie’s boyfriend, Kody. The first place we went to he would not walk with me at all! He kept walking so far ahead of me. I knew something had to be up. The next place we went to was Darvel Ct. in Folsom and it was magically lit up! Once we had looked at lights there for a while, I was ready to go, but as I proceeded to walk away, Patrick grabbed my hand. He got down on one knee and quickly asked, “Will you marry me?”. I was shocked but I said YES!!! It was a perfect proposal. Im so excited to be marrying the love of my life!
