Dressy Casual: Wear what you might to a brewery/bar - jeans are okay. Probably not sweatpants.

Come on by for a drink with us if you're in town on Thursday night. Cash bar will be open and we'll be hanging until about 10pm. Fairfield Inn is the farthest hotel from Three Notch'd and only 0.5 miles - nice walk if the weather is nice! You can also drive and parking is sort of around the building - if on 2nd street driving away from the downtown mall, continue straight across the Monticello avenue light and continue following the road which will curve slightly to the left which opens up to IX park where you will find parking.

Shuttle: Departs at 4:30pm sharp from the “Water St at Omni” Bus Stop outside the Omni on W Water St close to where it intersects Ridge-McIntire Road Shuttles will return guests to all 3 wedding hotels at 9:40pm and 11pm ******For those driving to the venue****** YOU MUST follow the directions below GPS/Google Maps will NOT work Directions from Route 64: 1. Take exit 121 Scottsville/Charlottesville 2. Head toward Scottsville (left off exit) onto Route 20 South (travel approx. 6-7 miles) 3. Turn left onto Carter Mountain Road 4. Take an immediate right onto Secretarys Road (travel approx. 3 miles until you reach a 4-way stop 5. At 4-way stop turn right onto Blenheim Road (travel approx. 2.5-3 miles). 6. When you arrive to the black and gold “The Lodge” sign on the left, turn left onto Moonlight 7. Drive through the open iron gates. 8. Follow Moonlight Drive until you reach the Lodge. Post-Wedding Picnic

RAIN OR SHINE - Kids welcome! There will be catering provided for a nice farewell lunch & yard games (if we're all up for it!). Carter Mountain is a beautiful hang-out spot and great launch point for inspiration to explore the Shenandoah Mountain area. With a Friday wedding, our hope is that people won't have to jet out the day after and instead can spend time relaxing, telling stories from the night before, and enjoying each other's company in a less formal setting at this picnic. Plus, Carter Mountain Orchard has stunning views of Charlottesville. Please come rain or shine! This is an outdoor venue though, so throw in a coat or umbrella if its raining.
