Monterrey International Airport (MTY)

For our guests traveling from Texas, you can fly out of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) or San Antonio International Airport (SAT)—both offer short, direct flights to Monterrey. Austin is typically the easiest option, though it can sometimes be a bit more expensive. San Antonio is a great alternative and also offers direct flights. For our guests traveling from California, there are also convenient direct flight options from major airports such as Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), and other larger California hubs depending on your city. We recommend flying with Viva Aerobus, which offers convenient and affordable direct routes, though several airlines also service Monterrey. Please plan to fly into Monterrey International Airport (MTY). The airport is approximately 40–60 minutes from the San Pedro area, where we highly recommend staying for convenience and safety.

Transportation

Transportation Uber is widely available throughout Monterrey and is an easy way to get around the city. However, pick-up availability at Monterrey Airport is limited for arriving passengers. Once you are in the city, Uber can be used normally, including for rides from hotels to the airport. Upon arrival, you may take an airport taxi, which is readily available outside the terminals, though fares can be more expensive than other transportation options. For a more seamless arrival experience, we recommend arranging private transportation in advance. We recommend a trusted transportation company we often use, Traslados Ejecutivos SESA. They track your flight, provide reliable service, and communicate conveniently through WhatsApp. Pricing varies depending on the number of passengers and the type of vehicle needed. A standard car is approximately $30 USD for an airport transfer, while larger vehicles such as vans and minivans may cost more. In general, airport transfers typically range between $30–60 USD per ride. Traslados Ejecutivos SESA can also assist with transportation around the city should you wish to visit museums, enjoy Monterrey's restaurants, or explore the area during your stay. Camino Real Fashion Drive Monterrey

We recommend staying at Camino Real Fashion Drive Monterrey for convenience and proximity to our wedding events. We will be sharing a booking code once it becomes available. While there are many great hotels in Monterrey, this is where our shuttle service will be available. Shuttles will transport guests to the ceremony, reception, and back to the hotel at the end of the night. If you prefer to stay elsewhere and not use the shuttle service, Uber is readily available, or you can coordinate transportation with Traslados Ejecutivos SESA to move around the city freely.
