RDU is central to everything in the NC Triangle and will be the best airport to fly into.

We have blocked a few rooms for guests at this hotel. Use the link below to book a room at a discounted rate. Please reach out to us if you have any problems booking. We will be providing transportation from this location to the venue (and back) on Saturday. This Marriott is close to the airport and 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Durham, with a free shuttle to the airport.
Shuttle
March 19, 2024 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
Pick up for the wedding will be at 3:30 p.m. from 4700 Guardian Dr. Durham, NC 27703 (in front of the Marriott). The trolley will also bring guests back to the hotel from the venue. There will be two evening pick up times: 9:50 p.m. (for those who would like to leave early) and 11 p.m.
Travel Note
Our wedding weekend coincides with a Duke University event, which means that hotels downtown are pricer than usual and some rentals in and around the area (even in nearby towns Chapel Hill and Hillsborough) may be booking earlier as well. We have tried our best to mitigate this by blocking rooms at a hotel that's both close to the airport and to downtown Durham. Airbnb and VRBO are also great for finding places to stay in Durham and surrounding areas. A few recommendations in downtown Durham that are not Airbnb or VRBO: The Durham Hotel; 21c Museum Hotel; Unscripted; Aloft (these four will be pricier options); and Morehead Manor, a bed and breakfast owned by Patricia's mom's friend. If you would like to explore another nearby town in the Triangle, Hillsborough (a historic, walkable small town that's only 10 minutes from the venue) or Chapel Hill/Carrboro (30 minutes from the venue and 15-20 from downtown Durham) are a few of our recommendations. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about these area(s). We've also made a few lists of Airbnbs for guests to consider. Let us know if you want to see those.
