Option 1 - Fly into St. Thomas (STT) - Taxi to Charlotte Amalie ferry dock (about $15 and 10 min) - Take ferry to Road Town Option 2 - Fly directly to Tortola into Beef Island Airport (EIS) - Taxi will be about 45 minutes from EIS to the resort
If you are flying into St. Thomas, we recommend taking the ferry from Charlotte Amalie to Road Town in Tortola, as the fastest option. You can either buy ferry tickets at the ferry dock or beforehand online. You can also take the St.Thomas Red Hook ferry to the West End ferry in Tortola based on your arrival time and ferry schedule. For the full BVI ferry schedule & online tickets check here: https://www.aquaticrentalsvi.com/ferry-service-tortola-bvi-stt-virginislands
No, not a requirement! We totally understand that the resort is on the pricey side and that you may want to stay somewhere else. If you are staying at the resort, please reserve your room by April 1st for the discounted rate. If you are not staying at the resort, please let Blake or Patrice know, if you haven't already, so we can cancel the extra rooms.
There are taxis everywhere, but we will also be renting a car to have for the week to help out with picking people up from the Road Town ferry. Once you get to the resort, all the events will be walkable too.
Passport, Swimsuits, Cover-ups, Light jacket or sweater for evenings, Sunblock, Sunglasses, Boat shoes/waterproof sandals for the boat day, Yeti or similar type cup for beach/pool (Blake & I will have liquor in our room to make beach cocktails), Phone charger, Waterproof case for boat stops, Outfit for Welcome Rehearsal Dinner, Outfit for Wedding
Attire for the evening will be resort dinner attire. For the men, consider khaki or chino shorts and short sleeve polos. For the women, think summer dresses and dressy sandals.
The wedding will be beachy cocktail attire. For the men, fully embrace your coastal style with linen or light-colored suit pants, breathable button-downs, and loafers. Ladies, dive into your best beachy elegance with summer cocktail dresses, floral-print maxis, or tea-length linen dresses. Wedges, block heels, sandals recommended.
