Church Ranch Event Center - Westminster 10200 Wadsworth Blvd, Westminster, CO 80021 Signage at the venue will direct you to the ceremony and reception areas.
The easiest way to get to the venue is to drive! There is plenty of parking for everyone and you are allowed to leave your car overnight but please retrieve it by 10:00am the following day. Getting to/from the venue can also be achieved by utilizing Uber and/or Lyft rideshare services. We will be looking into shuttle options for the after-party and will update once we have more information!
Yes, there is free on-site parking! You can leave your vehicle overnight, if needed, so long as you retrieve it by 10:00am the following day.
Strictly cutoff blue jeans and tank tops. If those don't happen to be in your fall wardrobe, we'll settle for semi-formal attire.
We have not. The reason being that there are several hotels in close proximity to the wedding venue that offer a variety of options for you to choose from (ranging from $100-$250 per night). Additionally, our venue isn't in the heart of Denver (or other favorited neighborhoods in the metro area) so we encourage you to look into Airbnb and VRBO options to get the best experience during your stay!
Your presence is our greatest gift, but for those who wish, you may contribute to our honeymoon fund by visiting the "Registry" tab at the top of the page. A designated container for cards will also be available at the reception. They say money can't buy happiness...but money can rent a jet ski, and a good friend once told us that his face hurt for hours after riding a jet ski because he was "smiling so hard". And if that ain't happiness...we don't want it.
The names of those invited are listed on your personalized invitation. Additional guests beyond those listed cannot be accommodated.
Outside of the munchkins in our immediate families, children are not invited.
The weather is typically wonderful in mid-September with highs in the mid-70s and evenings dipping into the high-40s. Being "a mile high", the sun can be a bit unforgiving, so don't forget to put on sunscreen (even with comfortable temperatures)!
The short answer is: probably not. However, since Denver is a mile high (above sea-level), your body dehydrates more quickly as you adapt to the lower oxygen levels. So drink water; drink more water than you think you need. And if you want to be "really prepared" you can always buy "canned oxygen" (i.e. Boost Oxygen) at most retail stores. This is not a gimmick. It is 95% pure oxygen that can help alleviate (or prevent) symptoms of altitude sickness...and a can is about $15-$20.
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party, as drinks after the reception will not be covered. Also worth noting...we will get in trouble if "outside alcohol" is consumed on the property, so please don't set up a tailgate party in the parking lot ;)
