The proposal! Pat gave a sweet and sentimental speech and got down on one knee. Micaela, who had convinced herself they weren’t getting engaged anytime soon, nodded yes through very surprised tears.

Post-proposal at the pier in Alden, Michigan, overlooking Torch Lake. One of Micaela’s favorite places growing up, and one of the first places she took Pat after bringing him home for the first time.

Pat cut off part of his pinky a few days prior to the engagement trip – it’s fine now!
