The Pioneer Mill was a flour mill built in Tiffin in 1822. In 1875, a fire destroyed much of the mill, but it remained in business grinding flour until 1900. After many years and many changes of hand, the mill is now renovated into a restaurant along the Sandusky River. The Pioneer Mill also has a very cozy bar located in the lower level called Tinker’s Dam. BUT - the very best thing about The Pioneer Mill is that this is the place that Bri and her dad go fishing in the Sandusky River every year!
