When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 1st, 2026 so we can provide accurate numbers for final headcount to our vendors. Your RSVP will be changed to “no” if it is not submitted by Oct. 1st. Your timely response is truly appreciated!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive at 3:30 PM to allow time for parking, finding a seat, and settling in before we begin. If you arrive at 4:00 PM or later, the door staff will ask you to wait outdoors until the end of the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes—semi-formal to formal attire, please! Think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, and suits or dress pants with a button-down shirt for men (ties optional). We want everyone to feel comfortable while still looking polished for the celebration!

Can I bring a date?

We’re so excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people! Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, they’ll be listed by name or noted as “and guest.”

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Please park in the designated Essence Event Center lot located directly in front of the main entrance. Additional parking will be clearly marked with signage. Vendors may park on the north side of the building near the exterior kitchen. A few important notes: -All vehicles must be moved by noon the day after the event. -Overnight parking is only allowed in the main Essence Event Center lot—not in overflow or vendor areas. -Free overflow parking is available at Select Ramp Parking (Levels 1–2). Look for signage indicating reserved spots for The Essence Event Center. The essence center provides maps to clarify here: https://www.theessencemn.com/parking-lodging
