During the summer of 2020, Reegan (Alyssa’s college friend) & Trevor (Daniel’s friend since middle school) ((AKA mostly Reegan & Tei- Trevor's mom)) thought it would be a great idea to setup Alyssa & Daniel. This way, they would have a group to hangout with during the COVID-19 pandemic. After a couple weeks of Alyssa and Daniel texting, they had a double date with Reegan and Trevor at Lake Harriet. Long story short, after Alyssa thought Daniel broke his arm that day, we were all awkwardly riding on a 4 person bike around the lake! Oh yeah, did I add that we started as a double date the first time we met?! After the first time meeting, Alyssa and Daniel decided to meet down at the Stone Arch Bridge for some Izzy's Ice Cream (RIP Izzy's- you are missed). Ever since that night where things became exclusive, it has been history ever since! From that night, Alyssa and Daniel went through two years of long distance when Alyssa was still attending Iowa State University. After Alyssa graduated fall of 2022, Alyssa and Daniel moved into an apartment together. Since then, they have adopted their kitty, Charli, in January 2025.
