If you would enjoy a short uphill hike to a beautiful waterfall, you would love this hike to the base of the falls. If you would like to enjoy a longer hike up above you can continue on but beware there is a tight path with a sharp cliff.
If you don't have a 4-wheel drive vehicle but would be interested on taking some 4-wheel vehicles out on the many trails stop in at Switzerland of America Jeeps to get the hookup and take a 4-wheeling tour!!
Enjoy a dip in the natural hot springs pool at the entrance of Ouray.
Want to enjoy some great beers on a fabulous rooftop taking in some of the breathtaking views of town. Stop in at the Ouray Brewery for a drink and some food!
Visit the small intimate natural hot springs cave in the Wiesbaden Spa, they have an outdoor hot springs pool as well as a hot springs cave. Cost is 15$ during the week and 20$ on the weekends.
If you want to visit the box canyon falls there are three interpretive trails in the park that range from easy to moderately difficult as well as numerous picnic sites. •The Falls Trail is a mostly level, easy, 500 foot walk into the canyon. •The High Bridge Trail takes you up 200 feet in a half mile round trip hike. Along the trail are beautiful views of town and the high peaks of the Amphitheater Cirque. •The Native Plant Loop is a short, easy stroll with river sounds, trees and shrubs, and plant markers to help identify local flora of the Box Cañon. This is the only trail within the park that does not have steps.
Want to take a drive on the million dollar highway? Its not a drive for the faint of heart! But you can drive on the winding roads from Ridgeway to Silverton and take in all the breathtaking views along the way.
Ridgeway is the next town over you could check out the local attractions.
Silverton Colorado is up the million dollar highway and a quaint old mining town.
