Most large international US airports fly to New Delhi or Mumbai There are 3 route options: 1. via Middle Eastern airlines: - Qatar - Etihad - Emirates These are typically 12-14 hour direct flights to their respective hubs in the Middle East—Doha (Qatar Airlines), Abu Dhabi (Etihad), Dubai (Emirates). From there, you board a 2-3 hour flight to India (New Delhi or Mumbai) Udaipur is then a 1-hour flight from Mumbai/ New Delhi via Air India, IndiGo Airlines or Vistara (could be on same itinerary or booked separately) 2. via European airlines: - Lufthansa (Germany connection) - Air France (Paris connection) - Turkish Airlines (Istanbul connection) - KLM (Amsterdam connection) - SWISS (Zurich connection) - British Airways (London connection) These would be approximately 6-7 hour flight to Europe from US and then another 6-7 hours from European city to New Delhi/Mumbai Udaipur is then a 1-hour flight from Mumbai/ New Delhi via Air India, IndiGo Airlines or Vistara (could be on same itinerary or booked separately) 3. directly from US to Mumbai/New Delhi (approximately 15 hrs) - via Air India - via American Airlnes (JFK to Delhi), United (EWR to Delhi) Udaipur is then a 1-hour flight from Mumbai/ New Delhi via Air India, IndiGo Airlines or Vistara (could be on same itinerary or booked separately) At any of the connection sites (either European or Middle East), you can stay in that city for a day or two to break up the duration of continuous travel!
