HELPFUL ADVICE FOR TRAVELING GUESTS

BOOK EARLY: Be sure to book your stay as soon as you are able to do so. Topton, NC is a small town with limited availability. THE DRIVE: The roads can be very winding with sharp, sudden turns. Please be sure to drive carefully and take your time getting to the mountain top. Due to internet limitations, please make sure to have directions prior to leaving your point of origin. There is plenty of parking on the sides of the road surrounding the venue DESIGNATED DRIVER: Please drink responsibly and/or have a DD plan in place. If you need to schedule a ride to or from the event, you can contact a transportation service to schedule shuttle transport. CELL SERVICE: There is NO CELL SERVICE at the top of the mountain. Most rental cabins and the wedding venue have land line phones you can use if needed. Wifi is also available at most rentals, as well as, the wedding venue but the weather can sometimes make this unreliable. UNPLUG: WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO UNPLUG during your stay and enjoy the great outdoors with us.

WHERE CAN WE GET FOOD NEARBY?

Answer

There are some options nearby including Lakes End Diner which is well reviewed and located 2 miles from the venue on the lake. Although, it is best to purchase food and beverage items to have readily at your rental cabins. Please be sure to search grocery stores and other food/beverage options that are along your route to the venue.

Although we love the little ones, we kindly request no children outside of the wedding party or only invited if named.
