Kristen is Kelsey's little sister, and built in best friend. They were really close growing up as military brats, moving every few years. Like most sisters, they've been through their share of good and bad times together, and Kristen knows Kelsey in a special way that nobody else does. They share numerous inside jokes and love to spend time together whenever they can. Kristen loves to spend time in nature and has a passion for conservation. She lives in Arlington, Virginia with her fiance Chris.

Mark Tschantz

Best Man

Tyler and Mark met in youth group in high school, and bonded over a shared love for music. They have lead worship together at several events over the years, and became very close friends. Mark is sincerely kind but also honest (a hard balance), dependable, and believes the best about people. He has been there for Tyler through thick and thin, and Tyler is honored to have Mark stand beside him on his big day.

If you know Kelsey and Tyler, you know how much they love this lady right here. Heather is such a good friend to both the bride and groom, they fought over which side of the altar she would stand on. She is an amazing roommate and the best adventure pal. Her sense of humor, sick dance skills, and generous heart are just a few of the reasons Tyler & Kelsey couldn't have this wedding day without her!

Joe & Debbie Wenger

In early 2017, before Kelsey and Tyler started dating, they met Joe and Debbie at church. They all hit it off right away, Tyler and Joe geeking out over church tech while Kelsey and Debbie bonded over personality tests and good books. Joe was the first person to ask Tyler if he had romantic interest in Kelsey. (Thanks Joe!) After Kelsey and Tyler started officially dating, they became even closer with the Wengers, having game nights and great discussions over supper. Debbie has a gift of hospitality and heart for social justice, and Joe is a tech guru and skilled problem solver. They're even opening up their home for Kelsey and Tyler to get married at. The bride & groom couldn't ask for better friends!

Emily Voortman

Emily and Kelsey met in 2015 when they started their DTS together in Harrisburg. She and Kelsey bonded over deep and honest conversations, as well as a shared passion for good food and intentional living. Emily hails from Ontario, but has also lived in Harrisburg, Nepal, and most recently London- where Kelsey was able to visit her for a few weeks last September.

Ben and Tyler met in youth group at Jackson Friends Church. Ben has a hilarious and unique sense of humor, he knows how to have a good time. Tyler has fond memories of driving all over Jackson Twp getting coffee (which Ben is not a fan of) and playing epic games of hide and seek that took them all over town. Once Ben and Tyler hid in a recycling bin in a church parking lot for over an hour because nobody could find them! Ben lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Hannah.

Hannah Keyton

Hannah is one of the most thoughtful and gentle people Kelsey has ever met! They became close around the same time that Tyler and Kelsey first started talking, so Hannah has been there every step of the way to process and dream and support Kelsey in this relationship. She was also Tyler's team leader on his trip to Thailand. When Hannah got married in 2018 in her home state of Arkansas, Kelsey was one of her bridesmaids, and it was the most peaceful wedding Kelsey has ever been a part of. Hannah has an uncanny way of making people feel safe and at home simply by being around. She's also wonderfully creative and has a contagious laugh that lights up whatever room she's in!

Tyler and Rico met through a mutual friend in 2012, but it was when Rico invited Tyler to start a church with him that they really hit it off. Some of the greatest memories Tyler has with Rico are from playing pool at a local bar after they finished church services, they would hang out and have great talks. Rico is a passionate and genuine person, and his charismatic personality challenges the people around him in the best way. Rico lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Ashley.
