Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We sure hope you'll be able to join us for our special day. RSVPs are open now. You can RSVP as early as you wish but final head counts for ceremony/reception are due September 30, 2024. This date will not be extended. See RSVP page. If you are unable to attend the reception/ceremony, but still wish to join the after-party festivities. You are more than welcome to come! No RSVPs required. Just show up and help us celebrate!!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes. We want to share our day with all of those close to us, children included. Kids are welcome at both the ceremony and reception. Keep in mind, we will be having an adults-only after party around Chandler (see schedule) later that night. So find a babysitter!

Open bar?

Answer

Yes! Mimosas, Bloody Marys, signature cocktails, and mocktails will be served as well as juice, lemonade, Coke products, water, and iced tea. And per request of the groom, plenty of Coor's and Coor's Light will be available. *No person under the age of 21 are to be served alcoholic beverages and IDs will be checked by Ashley Castle Staff.* (They will cut you off if they find out you are serving to a minor also.) *No flasks or shooters are allowed on the property.*

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Answer

No. This is a rule of the venue. The bride and groom will provide alcohol to their guests.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures while the guests can enjoy drinks and light bites during cocktail hour on the terrace outside the reception area. Brunch will be served around 12 noon.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside and the reception will be inside. Of course we can't guarantee anything, but Arizona weather in November averages around mid 70s. With it being a morning ceremony and an early afternoon reception, please plan accordingly.

Where can we stay in the area? Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Please see the Travel section of this website. There is a plethora of hotels and/or AirBNBs around the area. We chose not to block a hotel to let our guests pick where they want to stay for what fits their budget the best.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we'd like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #parmesancasserole and #carousowedding2024 so we can see them too!! There will also be a QR code available to upload any pictures of the day to our online album. No registration or app required.

What's on the menu?

Answer

The most important question! What are we eating? This is a brunch buffet. The main course will consist of the following: Perfect Pear Salad: mixed greens, sunflower seeds, goat cheese (on the side), poached pears, lemon poppyseed dressing Carved Baked Ham with Dijon Cream Sauce* Quiche Lorraine: baked egg custard, bacon, scallion + sharp cheddar cheese* Portobello Mushroom Ravioli: creamy basil pesto, sun-dried tomato, scallion garnish*+ Rosemary Roasted Red Potatoes Sausage Links *contains milk and/or cheese +contains nuts

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please notate any allergies or dietary restrictions when placing your RSVP.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation to the venue. Some hotels around the immediate area of The Ashley Castle may offer free shuttle service to and from the venue. There is also ample parking at the venue itself.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, wedding casual. Please avoid these colors: Emerald Green, Cerise, Copper

Will you be celebrating in South Dakota?

Answer

Yes. Enclosed in your invitation, there was a separate QR code with a link to a second website for our South Dakota reception. We hope you can attend either, maybe both!

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We will be getting together Monday night to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Carouso! As of now, the location is TBD, and we may end up planning it on the fly! Everyone is invited! Stay tuned for more details!
