Nick and Cassie Are Getting Hitched!

Nick and Cassie met in the most beautiful, and unique way ever…online. Yes, you read that right. Bumble. And it gets better. Cassie agreed to go on a date with this stranger (who by the way, had a gorgeous beard in his profile picture and showed up clean shaven!) but she arrived at the meeting spot embarrassingly early and Nick was still at work. So, there was a bar next door and Cassie went in for a drink or three waiting for her mystery man to show. Long story short, they met online and then in-person in a bar. How romantic! They hit it off and well, now you’re reading their story on their wedding website so they must be doing okay so far!

For those who don't know, Cassie's all-time favorite pop punk band is Simple Plan! Nick surprised her with tickets to Simple Plan only a few months after they started dating. They went not only to their first concert together but international travel since the concert was in Canada! At that concert, Cassie turned to Nick and said, "you can never leave me because nobody will be able to top this". Nick much of took that to heart because on August 11, 2023, Nick took Cassie back to see Simple Plan in Austin, Texas. Cassie's sister Brayden, AKA the Maid of Honor, came with this time. Unbeknownst to Cassie of course, Nick and Brayden schemed a way to plan out the perfect proposal. But not until after Nick took Cassie to a super fancy sushi restaurant two days before where they both dressed nice and Cassie had her nails done and everything, and he didn't propose. Of course, Cassie was grumpy all the next day but Nick made up for it eventually. Nick devised a plan to get Cassie to the venue at three pm (the concert didn't start until 7, and it was a whopping 106 degrees in Texas that day) because Nick had secretly bought Meet & Greet VIP tickets to meet Simple Plan!! Cassie was fangirling the whole time and when it came time to take pictures, Nick got down on one knee and asked Cassie to marry him! Cassie said yes and is trying everything in her power to convince Nick to invite Simple Plan to the wedding so now...we wait.
