Pinhoti Trail
Want a fun outdoor activity before the Big Day? The Pinhoti Trail is one of the many national trail systems that runs through Dalton. This trail is for moderately experienced hikers, and please make sure to bring adequate supplies for your day and the weather.
George W. Disney Trail
Another fun outdoor activity for experienced hikers! This is one of the steepest trails in the State of Georgia, and one of the Bride's personal favorites. At the top of the mountain, you will get a bird's-eye view of the Rocky Face area, and catch a glimpse of the Appalachian Foothills this area is known for!
Western & Atlantic Railroad Tunnel
Known to the locals as the "Tunnel Hill Tunnel," for the history buffs in the family/ friend group! Guided Tours are $12.00, Self-Guided Tours are $10.00, Groups of 20+ are $8.00/ guest, and children 3 & under are free. Visit their website for more info!
