Uber operates in Italy for licensed professional drivers (Uber Black) or local taxis, but to get around we recommend booking local taxis by downloading an app called appTaxi. You cannot hail a cab by raising your hand on the street in Italy, but at train stations, airports, and major piazzas there is often an official Taxi Stand.
Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO). It is an international hub providing more convenient flights and typically cheaper pricing. From here, we recommend taking the highspeed train to Arezzo.
