As many modern romance stories start, we both "swiped right" which led us to where we are today. Our first date was at a coffee shop in Wicker Park in 2016. We were both pretty nervous but figured what can be the harm in going for one coffee, right? Well, "just coffee" turned into an amazing conversation and a long walk around the neighborhood. We didn't want the date to end so we grabbed dinner at a local ramen spot. When we parted ways we both knew we wanted to see each other again. And so, our story was born.

After four days of hiking and exploring Utah's beautiful national parks, we made it to our last stop - an A-frame cabin on the side of a mountain near Zion. We woke up early to watch the sunrise and while we were laying in bed, waiting for the sun to come up over the mountain, Daniel became suspiciously nervous. When asked why his heart was beating so fast, his response was perfect and simple. He wanted to spend his life full of adventures - together. He then took out a beautiful custom wooden ring box (that he made himself) and asked me to marry him. After 5 years of being together I was still in shock, but so unbelievably happy. I finally pulled myself together to answer "YES!" We're so excited to share this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Michigan!
