Equinox Mountain Hike

If you're looking for a challenge, we hiked this mountain last winter. It's strenuous, but the views from the top are worth it! This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people on the trail. The visitor center at the top has superior views to Lookout Rock. Bring bug spray! :) Red Gate Trailhead off W. Union Street is a good place to start, it is a nice access point for other trails if you are looking for an easier option.
