The Detroit Zoo is easy to get to and a fantastic experience. Our favorite new addition: penguins!

In a time-crunch and need something, just about anything: Somerset Mall. From the highest of high end stores to the basics, if you have an urge to power shop, this is it.
If you forgot anything dressy: more upscale-Claymore Shop
For a traditional and classic look, check out the Claymore Shop. Ask for Al Skiba, who has worked there years and will help get you what you need if anything is forgotten. We recommend this for any accessories, ties, dress shoes, etc. A less-pricey, but great option is directly next door, Parks Tailoring (http://www.parkstailoring.com/).
Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago Cubs
1:40 PM Cubs @ Tigers game on Sunday, June 8 for those who wish to extend their trip and check out rejuvenated downtown Detroit. Tigers baseball at Comerica Park is one of Megan and Parker's favorite things to do in the spring/summer and the atmosphere downtown is awesome! PS: Rooting for the Tigers to win is mandatory.
Cranbrook Schools Campus
Cranbrook is a historical marvel and deeply rooted in the Williams/Lynch family. If you have some time to kill, the campus is a MUST. Incredible architecture, endless exploration, a science center, plus you can visit the sports fields/natatorium and reminisce about Parker's "glory days" back in the early 2000s. If you have kids (or love science), check out the Cranbrook Institute of Science
