Travel on the Wedding Day

Please keep in mind that, in season, driving from across Sarasota Bay (anywhere on the other side of the John Ringling Causeway bridge) to Lido Key may take an hour or more one-way due to beach traffic in season (where this is just a 15-minute trip without beach traffic). This is why we are offering transportation leaving at 3:30 pm to accomodate potential travel interferences.

Deciding where to stay

Lido Beach/St. Armands rentals will be closer to the beach and closer to the welcome reception, while mainland/airport adjacent accommodations will be closer to the wedding venue.

Which Airport is best?
Answer
Sarastoa-Bradenton (SRQ) is just minutes from the wedding venue and about 7 miles from Lido key. Tampa International Airport (TPA) is also an option and is 72 miles (an hour and 15 minutes) to the Powel Crosley and 77 miles to Lido Key (an hour and a half).
