This is a richly historic area where Parker's family lived while they were in Virginia! We love the restaurants and the civil war era houses on every street corner! With the Virginia Children's Museum, the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame, The Saturday morning farmer's market, and the yummy Bier Garden, you'll be able to spend the whole day walking between the Elizabeth River and the historic court house that's been transformed into a lovely art museum! You can also take the ferry across to Norfolk and tour the battleship! Be sure to check out 340 Court Street for the home where the Mansfields lived!
Tour the beautiful campus where Parker & Olivia attend college. With it's stunning landscaping, fountain, and chapel, it's a great place to picnic... in fact, that's exactly what our special couple did on the day Parker proposed!
October isn't too late in the year to enjoy a day at the beach!
You can't visit Hampton Roads without seeing the USS Wisconsin that's located on the Elizabeth River in Norfolk. The Nauticus museum teaches you all about the largest and last battleships built in the US!
