Travel

The Wedding Website of Caroline Park and Luke Eberle
There are a plethora of travel and lodging options in Berkeley and the surrounding area. Here are some of our top recommendations below.

Flight

Oakland International Airport (OAK)

A smaller airport. About a 25min drive from downtown Berkeley. Easy & simple to call an Uber/Lyft.

Flight

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

Lots of direct flight options for SFO. About a 45min drive away from downtown Berkeley. Slightly more involved to call an Uber/Lyft.

Hotel

Claremont Resort & Club

41 Tunnel Road
Berkeley, CA 94705

[[[UPDATE: unfortunately the Claremont is now sold out of rooms on Friday night]]]]] This is where we'll be staying! Classic historic hotel. Tons of amenities here - pickleball, tennis, pool, sauna, gym, pilates, spa, etc. USE THIS LINK to get our discounted group rate (https://book.passkey.com/e/51175349), or call 510-843-3000 and mention you'll be there for our wedding. Pro tip: Check out the different room types on their official website first (the passkey link doesn't have any photos).

Hotel

Hotel Shattuck Plaza

2086 Allston Way
Berkeley, CA
 5108457300

Cool historic hotel. Centrally located in downtown Berkeley. Walkable to restaurants/bars.

Hotel

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina

200 Marina Boulevard
Berkeley, CA 94710

A little further out, but not too far at all. They'll probably give you cookies at check-in.

Travel Note

Getting to the venue

Skip the rental car and let the professionals (Lyft/Uber) chauffeur you around this weekend! We will have shuttles bring you all back from the wedding venue down to Berkeley proper at the end of the night. If you can, please take alternative transport to the venue. With one wrong turn, you can end up on a very long & squiggly road and it is pitch black at night (hard to drive even when you've had 0 drinks!)
