The weather in Canmore and Canada is going to be 10-15 degrees colder than in Colorado and it gets colder at night so bring a jacket. The Elevation is 4,511, so Coloradans breathe-easy, others please bring electrolytes and water bottles.
While we love your little ones, we respectfully request no children at the ceremony or reception. The wedding will be centered around activities best suited for adults and older guests. We appreciate you making prior arrangements and can’t wait to celebrate with you.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
Semi formal. Women are encouraged to wear midi length or long dresses. Men are encouraged to wear suits, blazers with dress pants, or a tie with a dress shirt. No jeans or shorts please.
This event is casual and there will be games to play so wear whatever you are comfortable in.
The ceremony is a 3-mins drive from the major accommodations and about a 15-minute walk. Then the cocktail hour and reception is about a 3-mins drive, located close to the accommodations. We recommend driving and carpooling to the ceremony and then dropping your car back off at your hotel/condo and walking over to the reception. There are local cabs/taxis available if you would prefer.
The ceremony will be located outdoors (please no rain Mother Nature!) and the cocktail hour and reception will be located indoors.
Because the ceremony begins promptly at 4:00pm, we recommend you aim to arrive at least 25-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to enjoy the scenery and find a seat. There will be no late entries once the ceremony has started. Please plan accordingly.

Hiking around and exploring in Banff is a FULL DAY event, especially if you are choosing to see Lake Louise and Morraine Lake. But what if I am a fast hiker? You need to allot a full day for these excursions. Please do not plan them on Sunday, August 30th if you plan to attend the wedding.
