Travel Note
San Diego is a beautiful, spread-out coastal city with multiple neighborhoods we love. Our wedding events will take place in Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Del Mar, and the La Jolla area. For those flying into San Diego International Airport (SAN), public transportation is available via a short airport bus connection to the trolley or Amtrak system. The Blue Line runs through downtown and continues north to the UTC/La Jolla area. If you are traveling by train from downtown San Diego or Los Angeles, the Solana Beach Station (SOL) is the closest stop to our venues and a convenient option for reaching the coastal North County area. If arriving through Los Angeles (LAX), please note there is no direct train connection from the airport you will need to transfer to a nearby station before heading south to San Diego, which can add additional travel time. Rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) are widely available throughout San Diego, making it easy to get around during your stay. For the most flexibility and ease especially when traveling between venues you may also consider renting a car with family, friends or requesting rides via family or Ride Share. We encourage you to choose whatever option best fits your travel, budget and plans.
