There will be a traditional Gujrati lunch to follow this event at Maxal Restaurant. We would love for you to try the food we have grown up on but it is optional.

Beach Casual - ALL WHITE
This is an event in which you will get dirty!! We will be celebrating a new season in our lives by partaking in Holi. Holi is a festival that is celebrated in India in which powdered colors are thrown to symbolize good over evil and new beginnings. Consider this a grown up “water ballon fight” with colored powder. PLEASE DO NOT WEAR ANYTHING YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET RUINED OR DIRTY.
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

This is a night with traditional Indian dances called Garba and Raas. The brides side and the grooms side will “compete” against one another to see who has the best moves.

This is the grooms procession to the wedding which is an all out dance party before he greets the brides family and becomes a husband.

Thereafter, the final ceremony of Vidai (vee - dye) will take place. This is the last step of a Hindu Wedding where the bride bids farewell to her parents, family and maternal home.
