How Do I Book A Room?

Please use the link under "Travel" tab. There is a special group rate available for all of our guests under our room block. Daily breakfast is included in this rate.

How Do I Get To All The Events?

Answer

The Satak/Pithi, Sangeet, and Wedding Ceremony will be taking place at the hotel. We have arranged complimentary shuttle service from Pestana Palace to both the Welcome Party & Reception. The exact timings for the shuttles will be given in your welcome bag at check-in.

How Do I Get From The Airport to The Hotel?

What Is The Weather Like In Portugal?

May temperatures average between 72 degrees Fahrenheit (22 C) on the high end and 55 F (13 C) for a low. Most events will be outdoors so plan to dress accordingly as the weather can be chillier in the evenings.

What Currency Should I Bring?

Answer

The official currency in Portugal is the Euro (€). If you haven’t exchanged money back home or you aren’t pulling funds out of an ATM machine in Portugal, exchanging money is more streamlined at the big banks in city centers. The use of major credit cards is widespread among Portugal shops, making shopping easier. This is also the easiest way of having money without having to carry large amounts of cash, which minimizes your losses in case of loss or theft.

What Are Some Tips I Should Know Before Traveling?

1. Tap water is SAFE to drink in Portugal 2. Customary tip is 10%, and only necessary if very happy with the service at a Restaurant, tipping at a Bar is uncommon. 3. The main language is Portuguese, but most locals speak English. 4. 1 Euro = $1.15 Dollar 5. Lisbon is notorious for their hills so leave those 6-inch stilettos behind. We highly recommend packing comfortable walking shoes.
