Do I have to book my ferry ticket to and from Shelter Island in advance?

Nope! Ferry tickets to Shelter Island can only be purchased in person, at the time of boarding. Cash Only!

The ferries run continuously all day long. The max wait time to get on is usually around 10 minutes.

North Ferry - Last boat from Shelter Island to Greenport: 11:45pm South Ferry - Last boat from Shelter Island to North Haven: 1:45am

Yes! We encourage you to take your car on the ferry. It's very quick and easy, just drive right on!

Is there Uber on Shelter Island?
Answer
Yes, there are Ubers available on Shelter Island, however there are very few so we recommend calling ahead of time. There is also a great taxi service that we recommend if there are no Ubers available. Shelter Island Taxi Service: (631) 210-6677 Cash, venmo & credit cards accepted

If weather permits, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside on the lawn. The reception will be in an enclosed tent.
