It all began on a cool evening in late October, 2013 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on the campus of Central Michigan University (FIRE UP!). Becca was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and John was pledging the Sigma Chi Fraternity. One of Becca's friends, Taylor Croswell, was helping John meet more people in the greek community on campus and set him up on a blind date for their sororities fall Semi Formal. Interestingly enough, it was not with Becca. The night went on and everyone was having a ball, yet there was a problem. Becca and John were more interested in getting to know each other that night than their dates. As the saying goes, the rest was history.

On a beautiful November day, John and Becca left their apartment in Manhattan and took the train from Grand Central Station to Greenwich, Connecticut for a ‘cocktail party’ at the house John had lived in, or so Becca thought. As they stopped at the house to drop off wine, they were led out the back door to take some photos. John popped the question in a place where they shared many memories playing gin rummy on the terrace while sipping on Fishers Island Lemonades. Becca thought about it for a moment, but eventually said yes! Let the fun begin!
