Air France, ITA) - Connection flights through Albania or Croatia. Brindisi Airport is also known as "Aeroporto del Salento". Alternatively, you can fly to Bari-Karol Wojtyla Airport (further away from Lecce). If you are planning to visit other areas in Italy, you can consider the following options: - Flying to Bergamo (Milan): landing in Bergamo is easier than landing at any other Milan airport if you want to visit Milan or if you wish to visit Bergamo and Lake Como. Then fly from Bergamo (Milan) to Brindisi. Ryanair offers regular flights from Manchester to Bergamo and from Bergamo to Brindisi and back. Connections from other Milan airports are offered by EasyJet. - Flying to Rome and then to Brindisi. Please be mindful that some companies offer self-transfer flights between the two airports in Rome. You can consider travelling by train between Rome and Lecce. - Flying to Naples and then continuing toward Brindisi Airport (or Lecce if you decide to travel by train). Train
If you are considering travelling by train, you can consider Lecce as your arrival destination. You can consider travelling by train from Rome or Naples. We discourage travelling by train from Milan or Bergamo, as it is a very long journey. It is possible to drive from Rome or Naples to Lecce if you wish. Driving from Bari or Brindisi to Lecce is very easy. We suggest renting a car if you would like to visit the area or go for a swim in either the Adriatic or Ionian Seas. Please look at the "Things to do" tab if you want to discover more about what you can do in the area.

Both Bari and Brindisi are port cities, you can access the area by ferry through Albania (Valona-Brindisi or Durazzo-Bari) or Greece (Patrasso or Corfù to Bari or Brindisi) or Croatia (to Bari).
