Reservation required with an entry fee. We recommend other hikes, but this one is safe for all ages.
Bishop Museum
A great place to learn about the natural and human history of Hawaiʻi and how closely intertwined they are. Fun fact: The Bishop Museum was almost our wedding venue!
Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden

This hole-in-the-wall takeout place has the best value for quality poke and sashimi.
Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice
This shave ice spot was originally made famous in Maui, but this location is right down the road from where we live! They have the best flavor selection and you can get ice cream as an add-on.
Island Hopping
We love our island, but Hawaiʻi has much more to offer beyond Oʻahu! This is the most metropolitan of the islands and although there is still plenty of natural beauty to be had, each island has something different to offer.
