When does the event start and how early can I arrive?

Answer

Doors will open no earlier than 5pm and the ceremony will begin at 5:15pm.

Where can I park near the venue?

Answer

Two-hour street parking is available next to the venue. Our venue said that the two-hour limit is rarely enforced but please park longer than two hours at your own risk. A paid parking lot is available at 100 Florida Ave NE, a 15-minute walk from the venue. The venue is also a 15-minute walk from the Shaw-Howard University Metro station (green line). We recommend Uber or Lyft as the easiest option to get to and from the venue.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail, please! Weather permitting, dinner will be on the patio outdoors, so please dress for the temperature.

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held upstairs, which is only accessible via stairs. Please let us know if there will be any challenges ahead of time.

We kindly request that only people listed on the invitation attend.

Will dinner and drinks be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will provide appetizers, your choice of two dinner entrees, and dessert. Please also partake in the venue's selection of beer and wine.
