Fun fact: this is one of the oldest buildings in Golden Gate Park, and was the first public structure of its kind in the country!!
If you're up for a romantic row boat ride in the sunshine, look no further! Just don't tip over!!
Drinking & eating at the movies? Yes please! Pat & Andie probably come here at least once or twice a month! Their huge bowl of Truffle Parmesan Popcorn is a major reason why!

Hit up BiRite on Divisadero for picnic supplies and head over the Alamo Square Park for the perfect view of the Painted Ladies and the SF skyline behind it! If you're a Full House fan, this is the hill they're picnicking on in the opening credits, but NOT where their house is located.
Check out the Ferry Building's curated shops, purveyors and eateries and then hop on a Ferry to Sausalito to walk around this sweet little seaside town across the Golden Gate Bridge. If it's sunny out, Sam's is a great spot to pop in for a drink/snack on their large patio overlooking the bay.
Tuesday & Thursday : 10am to 2p Saturday : 8am to 2pm Can tend to get crowded, but this is the best farmer's market in the city! It's got an amazing collection of Bay Area farmers & purveyors as well as delicious food stands.
Come visit Andie's family's cafe during the week! It's closed in the evenings, weekends and holidays, however, so if you're around the Financial District on Monday - Friday between 7am-3pm, you know where to go for a quick breakfast bite, coffee break or tasty lunch!
AMAZING seafood restaurant opened in SF by Contramar in Mexico City's Chef Gabriela Camara, managed by Andie's good friend from Pitzer College, Emma Rosenbush. Our faves are the Tostadas and the Sweet Potato with bone marrow salsa negra. They also have BOMB tacos in their back alley on weekdays called Tacos Cala! Not to be missed if you're strolling around Hayes Valley during the weekday!
See where the magic happened when Pat & Andie first met! Be warned, this is a classic dive bar that houses cheap drinks and local yokels that might make you raise an eyebrow...
Great well-balanced cocktails and bar snacks! If they have the Grilled Mushrooms on the menu, ORDER THEM!!
One of Pat and Andie's favorite date spots! California cuisine with great attentive staff and a killer beer & wine list. The Squid Ink Conchiglie is NOT TO BE MISSED!!
The place that made the $5 Toast famous! If you're staying in an AirBnB nearby or just want some bread for park snacks, their bread here is AMAZING - whole grain flours milled in house makes all the difference. Trust us.
One of Pat & Andie's favorite bars in the city. Small, divey, and they'll let you order Fried Chicken from the restaurant across the street.

The official site of Pat and Andie's first date...you'll see what a classy dude Pat is for bringing her here. Andie agreed cause it's around the corner from her apartment at the time so it was an easy escape if it didn't work out. Lucky for us all, it did!

One of the most CLASSIC San Francisco restaurants made famous by their Roast Chicken. It takes a while to make, but definitely worth very minute.
Whether it's for brunch or dinner, this place always delivers. In the evenings, they project foreign films in the atrium for an extra romantic atmosphere.
The best Dim Sum spot in all of SF in our opinion. Don't even think about skipping the Baked Pork Buns.
Tasty tasty huge tacos and burritos. Be warned, there will be a long line always and the burritos don't have rice in them.
It's all about the $2.50 TACOS at this spot. Check out the meats at the little taco stand as soon as you enter. Pick your meat (suadero, al pastor and carne asada are faves!!) and add all the fixins you want! Make sure you get some of the onions stewing in their meat juices. Our mouths are watering just thinking of it!
Olive loves this nature hike in the middle of the city. Amazing views of the Golden Gate along the Coastal Trail and a perfect escape to nature if you need a quick getaway from the urban jungle.
Andy Goldsworthy, perhaps the most famous site-specific scuplture & land artist, has three pieces in the Presidio. This piece is built with felled cypress tree trunks to create a 150ft tall, 15ft wide spire. Young Cypress trees were planted all around the Spire which will eventually grow as tall as the sculpture itself!
The second of Andy Goldsworthy's pieces in the Presidio is this 1200 foot curving line made with felled eucalyptus trunks located in a clearing along the Lover's Lane foot trail. As with many of Goldsworthy's works, this piece will deteriorate over time.
Unlike his previous Presidio installations, Tree Fall one is housed indoors in an historic Powder Magazine which dates back to the Civil War. The ceiling is domed for protective purposes and so Goldsworthy decided to utilize this feature to create a sculpture comprised of a tree trunk covered with dried clay from the Presidio. This installation in particular highlights the interplay between natural and built environments. This installation is open to the public Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00am – 4:00pm.
Goldsworthy’s latest installation was created in 2014 and is entitled, Earth Wall. Unlike his other pieces, Goldsworthy was inspired by elements of nature that are “beneath the surface.” Located inside the Hardie Courtyard in the Officer’s Club, this piece is comprised of eucalyptus branches in the shape of a sphere that has been buried and then unearth within a wall made of soil from the Presidio.
