Welcome Drinks & Henna Ceremony

6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Cocktail attire: summer dresses // jackets (no tie needed!)

We're planning to be on the rooftop, so remember to bring sunglasses and a wrap, depending on the weather! Guests staying at the Hotel Royal have access to the hotel’s free shuttle until 10 pm; please coordinate directly with the hotel to book your transfers. If walking, search “Zerodix” (32 Rte des Téléphériques) in Google Maps. From there, you’ll see a staircase and signage leading to the event.

Ceremony & Reception

5:00 pm

Formal attire: long dresses // tux or dark suit & tie

**Block heels are recommended, as the ceremony will be on grass!** To get to Chetzeron, please board the Cry d’Er gondola at 4 pm (4:20 pm at the very latest!). Before boarding, collect your pre-purchased ticket from the staff member at the gondola station (“Crans-Montana Route Télé” in Google Maps). It is a picturesque 10 minute ride to the top. Remember to bring sunglasses or a wrap, depending on the weather. There will be a place to store jackets and a change of shoes, should you prefer to wear flats while in transit. After the wedding, Chetzeron Land Rovers will bring guests directly back to their lodgings, running from 11:30 pm – 3 am. It’s a (very fun!) 20 minute ride down.

Morning Hike & Fondue Lunch

Hiking attire (including hiking boots or sturdy shoes)

Join us for a hike and fondue lunch! If hiking from town, a group of us (led by Dan!) will meet at the Cry d’Er gondola station at 11 am. Otherwise, we’ll meet you at Corbyre! The hike is about 45 minutes and is moderately intense. Anyone wanting a less intense hike can take the gondola to Merbe (24 CHF adults, 9CHF kids; 19CHF with Explorer Card) and then hike downhill to Corbyre. Meet up with Dan at 11 am, and he will show you the way! For directions, search “Alpage de Corbyre” in Google Maps. The location will also be circled in red on the hiking map in your welcome bags. **If you're taking the gondola, remember to bring your Explorer Card for a discount. Ask your hotel or Airbnb host for more details.**
