Pre-wedding catch up’s - Bride

Arriving in Melbourne a couple of days early? Want to catch up before the big day? The bride’s got a little more time on her hands these days and would love to catch up — just be warned, there’s a fair chance the conversation might drift into a bit of last-minute wedding planning (it’s practically a hobby at this point). The groom’s still working hard in the lead-up, but you might catch him for a relaxed late-afternoon or early-evening chat once he’s clocked off. We’d both love to see our favourite people before the celebrations — it means so much to share this time with you as everything starts to come together.

Pre-Wedding Brunch

11:30 am - 2:00 pm

Comfortable smart casual clothing. It’s a late November day, please be sun smart and apply sunscreen and SunSmart clothing.

Before the big day arrives, we’d love to share a slow morning together — nothing fancy, just good food, good company, and a chance to catch up (or meet for the first time!). If you’re around and feel like joining us, come along for a relaxed brunch in town — no pressure, no schedule, just friendly faces and easy conversation. We’ve reserved a space at Yarra Botanica, right on the Yarra river and nice and close to the CBD, we’ll be on the upper deck so there will be some shade. With QR code ordering you will be able to order your favourite food and drinks without worrying about trips to the bar. It’s simply a lovely way to break the ice before the celebrations begin… after all, we’re family now. 🤍 If that sounds like your kind of morning, just let us know — we’d love to save you a seat.

Ceremony

4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Think your best dress (or best self!) — we want everyone looking and feeling fabulous, but there’s no need to buy a whole new outfit. Come comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate. Anything between smart casual to formal will be perfect - just pick your vibe.

We would be so happy for you to join us as we say “I do” and celebrate our love together. We kindly ask guests to arrive 5–10 minutes early so everyone has a chance to get settled and be present for the moment. After the ceremony, there will be a chance to take photos. If you’d like to be included, please let us know before the day — we would love to capture a few memories with anyone who wishes to join. If you’d prefer not to be in photos, that’s absolutely fine! You’re welcome to take a breather and make a relaxed journey to the reception at your own pace.
