Great Question. NO, its actually closer to the airport in Fletcher, NC. The airport and surrounding Hotels are about 15 minutes to everything. Asheville is about 20 to 30 min away. Mills River is a small community adjacent to Fletcher, NC.

This is a great central tour of a beautiful house. I would encourage you to see it once if you have not. I also encourage you to buy your tickets online. I put info on this site for anyone interested.
