February 24, 2024. 3rd date. Pam called Jane at the Lakeville Parks office and asked for advice on where to go on a date with this new man she was getting to know from Iowa. Casperson Park in Lakeville.

March 15, 2024. Celebrating Jim's birthday in Dundas, Minnesota. Nick told me, "playgrounds are for kids." And 50 somethings dating. :-)

April 13, 2025. Literally, Iowa Jim was calling for a walking date. We actually went the extra mile on this one.

May 17, 2024. Pam's first trip to Mason City, Iowa.

June 1, 2024. Jim, you are a brave man. You met a huge portion of Pam's family all at once. Deer River, MN.

June 8, 2024. Pam knew it was real love because Jim gave up his hat to keep the sun out of her eyes. Love Locks on Vermillion River in Hastings, MN.

June 21, 2024. "Doesn't matter how many times you win, I will always have this!" Games in the park on a rainy day. Central Park, Roseville.

June 29, 2024. One of the best part of the summer, picnics in the park with the Bull family. East Park, Mason City, IA.

July 5, 2024. Just one of those moments. We traded hats to see if mosquitos had a preference for color. Nope, it's just Jim they prefer.

July 21, 2024. Jim decided to brave it and join much of the Stangler family on a camping/kayaking weekend. Brule, Wisconsin.

August 3, 2024. We celebrated that Pam's business is growing. We ordered a single scoop at Nelson's in St. Paul. Jim's an encourager even when it gives him a belly ache!

August 27, 2024. Jim's smiling because he doesn't yet know he's going to get invited on stage as part of the act. His worst nightmare! "I tried to hide us in the corner, I really did." LOL!

August 30, 2024. Like mother, like son! Loving our monthly picnics in the park with parents and poke cake.

August 30, 2024. At the races to cheer on family. The Josten's have been so welcoming to Pam. Ella (Jim's mother-in-law) offered to "twist his arm" to get him to propose.

August 30, 2024. Meeting the Faktor/Benson family by attending the races to cheer on Aaron. Later, it was on to the Fantasy Football league draft.

October 3-6, 2024. Jim planned an Iowa/Wisconsin get-away. Beautiful!

October 20, 2024. The day we planned this Viking outing with Zac and Mitchell, Jim called it "an investment in our future family."

November 2, 2024. Trip to Redwing, Minnesota for Pam's birthday.

November 23, 2024. Neither of us like wine or mead, but wineries are beautiful places to visit. It's become on of our favorite things to do. White Bear Lake/Maplewood, MN.

December 1, 2024. Jim and Pam visit in the kitchen and Mars decided he was tired of waiting for attention, so he found a gap and snuggled in. Jim and Pam have 3 cats! Pray they become friends!

December 13, 2024. We made Jim's dad's fudge and his mom's sugar cookies to celebrate Christmas.

December 26, 2024. We celebrated Christmas together. Afterwards, we talked about our hopes for the future. Surprisingly Jim said, "That only leaves one question... will you marry me?"

January 11, 2025. We found our venue in Albert Lea, close enough to Mason City so that Jim's parents can be with us on our special day. Come celebrate with us!

We're still dating, even as we plan our wedding. We thought it would be fun to go back and revisit places that were special to us early on. Como Conservatory on a windy February day.

Here's to another round of celebrating Jim's birthday. But we've NEVER had lunch in an igloo before! River Falls, WI.
