Heavenly Village Way
We spent time here on our third date. There are shops, restaurants, putt putt golf, and a movie theater. Our favorite places to eat are Basecamp Pizza, Social house (which has a speak easy for the adults), Fire and Ice for a drink by a fire pit.
The Getaway Cafe
It is our favorite place for breakfast on our way out of town. It is a very small, cozy stop just after the agricultural inspection point. They have excellent breakfast and lunch options, they work with Pam's food intolerances well, and take them seriously. The service is always friendly. It is our favorite way to end our trip and fuel up for our drive home.
The Naked Fish
Fantastic sushi in South Lake Tahoe. It is a small place that does not take reservations, but the sushi is fantastic. Pam and Chang try to grab dinner here ever trip to the mountains.
Harveys
All of the Casinos are gathered right here at Stateline. If you like to gamble, or your kids like games, this is the place to go. There are also plenty of food options. From quick food court style to more upscale. If you looking for a more upscale dining experience there is both Friday Station and Sage Room on the top floors of Harrah's and Harvey's. Both offer excellent food, and a breathtaking view. If you go to Sage room, don't forget to get a Diablo. It is the reason Pam and Chang love Sage room so much. It is coffee, a cocktail and entertainment all in one. There is also Hells Kitchen. If you would like to dine here, we highly recommend you make a reservation as early as possible. It is the new hot restaurant, and hard to get in.
A Cup Of Cherries
This is a great place for breakfast across the street from the resort. They have a huge variety of coffee drinks if that is your thing. Chang's favorite is the Snickers coffee.
Whiskey Dicks
Want to grab a drink, play some pool? Want to stay away from the casinos? This is your place! Not far from Stateline or the Beach resort. Fun atmosphere, more of a locals place, and owned by friends of Chang and Pam's
