It is Lake Tahoe, the weather is a bit unpredictable so keep and eye on the weather. Also, pack layers. April is still considered winter in Tahoe. It could be cold, snowy, windy. Or it could be 60 and beautiful. Bring a winter coat either way because it will get cold when the sun goes down.
There will be a discounted rate available at the Beach Retreat and Resort beginning in October for the wedding weekend. There are also plenty of hotels near by. The resort is only about a mile and a half from Stateline, so if you like to gamble, the casino hotels are near by.
The ceremony will be on the beach at the Tahoe Beach Retreat and Resort, right along the water, so wear appropriate shoes, heels might not be the best choice. The reception will be inside at the reception hall at the beach retreat.
Short answer, yes, you can bring your kids if you would like. But if Mom and Dad want a date night, or a weekend away in Tahoe with out the littles, we support your decision too.
Right now, (July 2021) it is recommended by the CDC that masks be worn indoors. We ask that our guests respect the guidelines of the county and state. We do ask that any parties who are not vaccinated respect our wishes. We will have a large number of guests who are young and older, and we would prefer that you choose to stay home and keep our family and friends safe.

If your invitation says "and guest" you are welcome to bring a guest. If it does not, then please don't we have a limited amount of people we are able to invite.
If you are staying at the Beach retreat and resort, parking is included. If you are not, there is a large Safeway across the street from the resort. The resort asks that you park there and walk across the street.
Because most kids are unable to get the vaccine, yes they can attend unvaccinated.
